There is more thermal mass, so the waffle iron has a shorter recovery time between waffles.

The Great American Waffle Iron is cast in a US

Industrial foundry using modern technology.
It is hand finished in Tennessee and seasoned using certified Kosher grapeseed oil. You will see some minor tooling marks where the casting is cleaned up by hand in our workshop.
